Service to veterans, veteran's families and the community. Provide full Military Funeral Honors to our nation's veterans at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington. Community support includes Color Guard for area parades, Veterans' Day ceremonies, etc
Overview
Peninsula Veterans Color & Honor Guard is a wholly independent 501-C-19 non-profit organization. Federal firearms regulations require the team to be attached to an active Veteran Service Organization (VSO) post which, at present, is Herman Uddenberg VFW Post 1854, Gig Harbor WA.

PVHG Commander: Michael O Johnson, Service Officer, VFW Post 4992 Silverdale, WA.
PVHG Vice Commander: Kenneth R Christian Jr. Commander American Legion Post 236, Gig Harbor, WA.
PVHG Chaplain: Karl H Bonn, Service Officer, VFW Post 1854.
PVHG is composed of Veterans from all military branches, all ranks and from all national active Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).
